Bob was a very loving and caring man whose passions in life were his children and grandchildren and playing and teaching golf. He was very fortunate to have played on many beautiful courses throughout the United States. Two of his crowning achievements were seven Hole-In-Ones and one Double Eagle! Some people would say often, “He lived on the golf course.” Bob often known as “Kelley,” would say his biggest accomplishments were his children and grandchildren. He also loved Allen Fieldhouse, traveling, fishing, and sports of all kinds. He treasured his many lifelong friends. Bob was a professional painter for 57 years, and a member of the Painters Union.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Nellie and Robert Kelley and sisters LaDonna, Cleta, and Rosie. He is survived by son Jeff Kelley, daughter Lisa Marek and son-in-law Mark Marek, and son Shawn Kelley. Grandchildren: Alexander, Kyle and Ryan Kelley, and Mallorey and Peyton Marek; a great granddaughter, Aria Sage Kelley; brother Mike and sisters Louise and Shirley.
Bob was a very hard working man who enjoyed life to the fullest, who wanted to be remembered as a “good golfer.” He will truly be missed and his memories will be treasured.
