Robert Clark Smith, Jr., aged 71, of Cleveland, MO died peacefully June 5, 2025, at home. A Memorial Service will be held on June 21, 2025, at 3 pm at McGilley State Line Chapel. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) are requested.
Robert was an Eagle Scout and a warrior in the Tribe of Mic-O-Say. He graduated from Southwest Missouri State University with a B.S. in Psychology. Robert worked at Kansas City Life Insurance Company as a programmer, an Electronic Data Processing Auditor, and a Database Manager until his retirement. He was a member of St. Mark’s United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert, and his mother, Roberta.
He is loved, missed, and survived by his wife, Paula; sons Robert and Alex and Alex’s wife Nicole; two grandchildren; and his sister, Carol and her husband, Mike.
