Dear Carol and Family, So sorry to hear of Ron's passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Ron was a true friend and mentor. I will never forget and often tell the story of playing golf with Ron and asking him how to put backspin on my ball. It is with great sadness that I am writing these few words about a very good friend of mine. Ron was a very special person, whom I had the pleasure of working with several times. I would always call on him or request him when ever I had a service here at the funeral home. He always greeted me with a smile and was always willing to help in what ever needed to be done. It was sad to hear that he had moved away, and it saddens me even more to now hear that he has passed away. I will certainly keep Ron and his family in my prayers. Although I never had the pleasure of meeting Ron's family, his face would light up every time he spoke about them to me. He will be sadly missed.

I feel privileged to have known both of you at Drumm Farm. We had a good time making memories that will now last for our lifetime. Sad to lose ones spouse so early, time goes so quickly. Carol and Family, I was deeply saddened to hear about Ron's passing. Ron was one of the finest people I have met on life's journey. He was kind and generous with his time to his friends.  I know he loved his family he talked about his children and grandchildren and his great pride in their accomplishments when we spent time together not many years ago.  Ron came to work with me for a week and we had a lot of fun and many conversations about life in genera during that time. I have no doubt he is the hands of God. Rest in peace, Ron.   Johnny O.   I am so sorry to hear about Ron.  I've missed him since you all moved to Florida.  He used to come into the office bringing me his home grown tomatoes or popcorn.  Ron was a wonderful man.  I really enjoyed visiting with him.  My heartfelt condolences.  Gisele Gamble

My Dad and I were saddened and shocked to hear of Ron's untimely passing. We send you our deepest condolences and prayers for comfort in this sad time.

My Dad and I will remember Ronnie's warm smile, great sense of humor, upbeat attitude toward everything, his strong love of you, and all his family, and of course his love of golf. 

Last night my Dad and I were laughing on the phone  as we remembered the "family legend" of when Ronnie was a toddler and rode his tricycle all the way from his grandma's house, across busy Calumet Avenue, to Haja's house and how he told his mom that he held his hand up to traffic and said, "No toot, toot-I go to Haja's house." I remember both Aunt Kitty and Haja delighting in retelling that story over coffee and a game of cards in the kitchen at the house on Woodward Avenue.   

We can picture Ronnie up in heaven, playing a round of golf with God or sitting around a kitchen table having a cup of coffee with the family and telling a wonderful joke or funny story.   

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.
