Ronald G. Woolery, 68, passed away July 5, 2016. Ronald was born April 25, 1948 at his home in Kansas City, MO the son of Clarence F. and Lillie B. Woolery. He served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Ron worked for Armco Steel and Wire Rope Corp, retiring in 2003. He married Peggy L. Arnold in 1980. Survivors include his wife, Peggy Woolery, two daughters, Terri Simmons (Dennis) and Robin Godfrey (Patrick); one sister, Grace Dedrick; two brothers, C. Leroy Woolery and Larry Woolery; six grandchildren, Spencer Rupp, Acacia Rupp-Longley, Collin Stallman, Christopher Simmons, Raymond Rupp III and Denni Simmons and two great grandchildren, Raylen Rupp and Kenzlynn Longley. Ron is preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Betty Wymore and one brother, Kenneth Woolery. A graveside service will be held Friday, July 15, 2016 at 1 pm in Higginsville Missouri Veterans Cemetery.
