Rosemary K. Boyd

Rosemary K. Boyd passed away peacefully on July 21, 2024. Rosemary was born on January 2, 1931 in Salina, KS to Alice and Jack Kennedy. She graduated from the University of Kansas in 1952 with a physical therapy degree. While at KU she met her husband of 71 years, Jack Boyd. Together, they raised 5 children: Mary Winter (Wint), John (Young), Tom, Chris (Nina), and Bill Boyd.

Rosie was a wonderful grandmother to her 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. The kids most enjoyed gathering around the piano to hear Rosie sing and play.

She was preceded in death by her son, Tom and grandsons Patrick and Brian.

A private celebration will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, friends are encouraged to make donations to St. Ann Catholic Church.
