Rosemary A. Sharpe

Rosemary was born on February 21, 1925 in Kansas City. She was raised in the Northeast area and attended Holy Cross Catholic grade school and Cardinal Glennon High School. She was a member of Holy Cross and St. Gabriel's parishes. She had been a member of American Legion Auxiliary Unit 0332 and Forty and Eight.

In her earlier years, she enjoyed horseback riding, fishing, garage sales, Swap N Shop, riding roller coasters at Worlds of Fun, and attending Easter egg hunts and Christmas Eve at the Rush's.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Francis "Earl" and Elizabeth Sanford, her beloved husband Howard F. Sharpe, her sister and brother-in-law Doris and Ernest D. Rush, her son James L. Sharp, her nephew, Earnest (Sandy) Rush, her niece Marianne (Rush) Gibson, and her great-granddaughter Haley M. Sharpe.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law Cecelia M. Sharpe, her grandchildren James H. Sharpe and Jenny Steele, Robert C. and Stacey Sharpe, Matthew J. Sharpe and Lori Elliott; her great-grandchildren Tyler, Svieta, Trey, Kallen, Lauren, Rebecca, Tucker, and Luke Sharpe; her nieces Julie Rush, Christine and Same Burroughs, Carol and Jake Hannas, Jeanne Johnson, and Peggy Rush and her nephews Thomas and Diane Rush, John Rush, and Joel Rush. She is also survived by her many great nephews and nieces that she loved very much.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday, Sept 3rd, with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM Tuesday, at the McGilley Antioch Chapel. Burial will follow services in Resurrection North Cemetery.
