Ross served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Korea 1964-1965.
He was an avid gardener and investor and random things shopper (QVC). He loved college basketball and watching every Netflix show and movie he could find!
He worked for many years at Anchor Savings and Loan in KCK in the accounting and printing department, followed by 25 years at Black and Veatch, KCMO as a reprographic manager until he retired.
He was preceded in death by his father Guy Q. Parsons and mother Alma J Ross (Parsons) and younger sister Mary Parsons.
Ross is survived by his son Andrew Parsons of Shawnee, Kansas, son Christopher Kramer (Nikayla) and 4 grandchildren: Morgan, Lucy, Jillian and Henry. He is also survived by his 3 sisters, Debbie Nooning, Joanie Johnson and Becky Hazleton (Dave), as well as 6 nieces and 1 nephew.
He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
A celebration of life for Ross will be held Saturday, March 15, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, MO 64131.
