Sandie was a devoted wife, mother, and Memaw whose life revolved around her family. She found immense joy in sewing and baking, often crafting delightful treats that brought smiles to the faces of her loved ones. Her passion for cooking was evident in her love for sweets, especially anything her husband, Don, prepared, as well as her fondness for breads, ice cream, French fries, and Bread & Butter pickles.
A vibrant spirit, Sandie was known for her love of music. She delighted in attending her grandson's rock band performances and could often be found dancing the polka, bringing joy and energy to every gathering. Her creativity shone through in the costumes she lovingly made for her grandchildren, showcasing her talent and dedication to making their childhoods magical.
Sandie's love for animals was evident in her special bond with her dog, Bella, who brought her comfort and companionship. She cherished the simple pleasures in life, whether it was cruising in their antique cars while attending car shows and engaging in crafts, watching movies, playing games with her family, or making the holidays special. Above all, Sandie loved nothing more than spending time with her husband, Don, and her family, finding happiness in every moment shared together.
Her favorite place in the world was anywhere her husband was, a testament to the deep love and partnership they shared throughout their lives. Sandie's warmth, kindness, and unwavering love will be profoundly missed by all who knew her.
