SARALA DEVI KUCHIKULLA, 87, of Overland Park, Kansas, originally of Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India, passed away on Friday, April 15, 2016. Hindu Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, April 17th, at McGilley State Line Chapel, 12301 State Line Road, Kansas City, MO, with cremation to follow.
Srimati Sarala Devi was born on August 1, 1928 to Sri Beeravolu Ramchandra Reddy and Srimati Pullamma. She was married for fifty-one years to Sri Kuchikulla Janardhan Reddy, who served as a Member of Parliament in India and as a Member of the Legislative Assembly in the state of Andhra Pradesh. She took an active part in the ancestral family occupation as agriculturalists in the district of Mahboobnagar, A.P. Srimati Sarala Devi is predeceased by her husband and her son, Pruthvi, and survived by her daughters, Rekha (Raghunath) Reddi and Bharthi Reddi of Overland Park; son, K. Rama Reddy (Sumana) of Hyderabad; four grandchildren, Rishi Reddi, Divya, Deepthi, and Vishnu Kuchikulla, and three great-grandchildren, Maya Lownie, Anjan Reddi, and Abhay Gillela.
