She was born on January 14, 1987 in Kansas City, Missouri. When our mom, Sara, went into the hospital to have the babies, she was told to bring home a girl or not come home. Well, we got two beautiful baby girls. The twins coming into this world was one of the best things to ever happen. Sare’ and her twin sister were our miracle babies. To help save her older brothers from always being dressed up as girls by their big sister. To always keep things interesting. To always watch out for her twin.
Sare’ met and married her husband, Jason Turpin, in 2005. Unfortunately he was called to heaven only a year later.
Sare’ was a very unique soul, creating a special bond with everyone she met. She was such a kind and caring person, always so nurturing, wanting to mother all. Some of her passions included the love of drawing and endless hours of reading (that came from her mother), just to get away and escape from all the demands of life. She was blessed with many nieces and nephews which was some of the happiest times shared here on earth. Sare’ had an unusual bond with animals. In that they took to her like no other, really convincing her to think about going to veterinary school. She loved with all her heart. No matter who you were AND no matter the differences she may have had with you.
Sare’ will be missed by so many. She was taken from us all way too soon. Before bridges could be repaired, before she had her own happily ever after and before her life could really begin.
Her spirit will be the butterfly that lands on that flower you see. Or the one that just whispers by your ear, that lands on the railing and sits there just for a minute.
Sare’ Junet you are so special to so many of us here still and in heaven with you. We love you and will miss you every day of our lives.
Keep watch over all that loves you from above.
Sare’ was preceded in death by her husband Jason Turpin; maternal grandfather Edward Porter; maternal grandmother Marge Porter; paternal grandmother Ann Helm; uncle Allen Porter; and her baby brother Kenneth Helm. She is survived by her mother Sara and step-father Juan; father Morgan Helm and step-mother Deb; grandfather Monroe; grandmother Elsie; sisters Tammy (Fabian), Cieara (Leon), Kayla, Cathy, Cameron and Alicia; brothers Morgan (Cassie), Rocky, Andy and Jakaab; aunts Marie (Larry), Monica, Lissa (Mike) and Cercie’; uncles Dandy (Katie), Brett (Kris) and Jason (Cheli); nephews Jaden, Alex, Cyruse, Carl, Michale, Alexzander, Samuel, Ryan, Lucas, Tyrin, Kane and Kydin; nieces Samantha, Mackenzie, Brenda, Harley, Lilly and Jasmine.
