

Scott was raised by his Grandmother & mother. He graduated from North Kansas City High School in 1980 and then attended Electronic Technical Institute. He worked at Sprint for 22 ½ years and then worked for AT&T, Coca Cola & Aramark. While working at Aramark he got to see the Royals win the American League playoffs in 2014. Scott’s last job was with Waddell & Reed. He was such a dedicated employee; he never took a sick day until the day he went to the hospital.
Scott was a loving husband and father to his children. He was always there for them as they were his world. His love for them was undeniable. He coached his sons little league ball team for many years going to tournaments in difference states. His love of playing baseball was passed down to his son. Scott loved the Royals, Chiefs, Golfing & Nascar Racing.
He was preceded in death by this grandparents Jewell “Champ” & Evelyn Mae Butler, his mother Barbara Kay Mansell. He is survived by his wife of 31 ½ years Tammy Leonard Shaver, son Sean (Adrienne) Shaver & his daughter Kristie Shaver. He also leaves behind a mother in law, step father, 3 FAVORITE sisters and their spouses, nieces & nephews and great nieces & nephews.
His life was full of love and he will be missed greatly. We will love you forever & always for eternity.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to KU Oncology at Clay Edwards Dr, North Kansas City or NorthCare Hospice.
