Sherry passed away August 20, 2025 in Pleasant Valley Missouri.
She graduated from North Kansas City High School in 1958. She worked for Whitaker cable corporation for many years and also Cook paint company. She worked several years also at a few other corporations as a secretary as well.
She married Owen William CARROLL on May 31, 1979. For many years, Sherry and Owen would spend the weekends at their lake property on Robertson Cove at the lake of the Ozarks.
She is preceded in death by her only daughter Schellie Lynn Dinsmore, her mother Mable Greever Dinsmore, her father Elmer, E Dinsmore, her step mother Bedonna Dinsmore, her sister, Joan Mann and her husband of 42 years Owen W. Carroll.
She is survived by her brother Harold Dinsmore, Kansas City, brother, Thomas Belt, and wife, Judy, Kansas City and many nieces and nephews.
She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church Kansas City North.
Services will be held Saturday, August 30 at the Floral Hills Funeral Home, 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd., Kansas City, MO Visitation will be at 1 PM and the Funeral Service will be at 2 PM
