Shirlee L. Burt, 82, of Kansas City, MO passed away on July 7, 2013 at St. Luke’s Hospital. She was born on Jan. 31, 1931 in Kansas City, KS to Lawrence and Clara (Hubbard) Jones. Shirlee is survived by her husband of 65 years, Charles “Chuck” Burt; son, Dudley Burt; daughters, Candy Vannice-West (Douglas) and Cindy Leonard-Williams (Rick); niece, Ginger Jones; grandchildren, Matt Leonard, Craig Leonard (Erin), Nick Leonard, Wesley Burt, Charlie Burt; great-granddaughter, Vivian Leonard.
A visitation will be held 6-8 pm on Wed, July 10 at McGilley Midtown Chapel, 20 W. Linwood Blvd. Funeral service will be held at 10:30 am on Thurs, July 11 at the funeral home with private burial to follow in Maple Hill Cemetery.
