Shirley D. Rowell, 62, of Gladstone, MO passed away on February 20, 2011. Visitation will be from 12 – 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at Mt. Moriah and Freeman Funeral Home with the funeral service following at 1 p.m. and burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Shirley was born on September 1, 1948 in Kansas City, MO. She was the daughter of John E. and Avis F. (Cretcher) Bell. She married Leonard Ray Rowell on November 2, 1979. He preceded her in death on October 20, 2000. She was also preceded in death by her Mother, Avis Bell, Son, Merrick Jones, Brother, James Richard Bell and Nephew, Sean Graven. Shirley enjoyed being at home and loved and supported her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her Father, John E. Bell of Kansas City, MO, Daughters, Misty Dibben and husband, Brad of Kansas City, MO, Telesa Cranfill and boyfriend Jeff Hawkins and Melissa Rowell, Sister, Denise Toman and husband, Beau of Belton, MO, Sister-In-Law, Marcia Bell of Rio Ranch N.M., Neice, Kim Houston & husband Brian of Hollister,California. Nephews James Casey Bell & wife Rashell of Broken Arrow, OK., Nephews, Jay Bell & spouse Andreas of Stuttgart Germany. Great Nephew Derek Bell of California & neice Shannon Bell-Hurley of Albuquerque, N,M.
