Shirley Ann Scammahorn

Shirley graduated from Southeast High School, Kansas City, Missouri. After graduation she met and married Robert Scammahorn, the were married 66 years. She worked for Internal Review Service until she retired. She loved traveling, reading and spending time with her family.

She is survived by daughters, Debhra (Debby) Catalano and Cathryn (Cathy) Brock; Grandchildren, Tracy Wright (Patrick, spouse), Scott Stitt (Carolyn, partner), Leslie Schirmer, Greg Stitt (Kelly, spouse), Steven Stitt (Magen Casternline-Hayes, partner), Michael Schirmer (Jessie, spouse), Bobby Crews (Lindsey, spouse), Cody Crews, Kayla Jo Brock-Evaelhock; Great Grandchildren, Jacob Wright (Torri, spouse), Justin Wright (Dalton, partner), Edward Ramsey III, Kyleigh Stitt, Addy Schirmer, Marli Schirmer, Makenzie Schirmer, Jameson Stitt and Harper Crews, Janell Caswell, Tyler Caswell, Jax Larios, Quinn Evelhoch; along with numerous friends of the grandchildren that call her Grams.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert; parents, Lloyd S. and Lena Richardson; Siblings, Allene Pickle (Howard), Wilma Peterson (George), Lloyd S Richardson, Jr.; and Great Grandchild, Lainey Schirmer.

Shirley did not want a formal service. To honor her wishes, the family will have a small private gathering with family to be held in Oak Grove, Missouri and a celebration of life at a later date for friends. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity in her honor, if you wish.
