

Sondra Sue Mueller, 57, Kansas City, Missouri, passed away March 19, 2012. Visitation will be from 9:30-10:30 a.m. followed by funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 24, at St. Andrews Episcopal Church, 6401 Wornall Terrace, Kansas City, Missouri. Burial in Mt. Sondra was born February 4, 1955 in Kansas City, Missouri, daughter of Joseph Herman and Shirley Emaline (Smith) Mueller. She attended St. Michael’s Grade School, graduated from St. Mary’s High School and attended Maryville College. Sondra worked at Dean Machinery and Bendix for many years. After losing her eyesight, she attended Lion’s World Training Facility in Little Rock, Arkansas and went to work for the IRS. Sondra had battled type 1 diabetes since 1966. She was a member of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church and the Discussion Group. She loved listening to music, especially ballads and country music. She enjoyed vacations with her family in earlier years. She was preceded in death by her brother Stephen Mueller. Sondra is survived by her parents, Joe and Shirley Mueller, siblings Raymond Mueller (Carole), Shirley Ann Snider, Ronnie Mueller, Regina Gonzales (Joe) and Roberta Boitnott (Rick); sister-in-law Georgia Mueller; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She leaves behind many friends, but especially her roommate Jean Rademacher, Jean’s service dog Jagger, and lifelong friend Lori Roddin. Condolences may be offered at www.mtmoriah-freeman.com.
