She was born May 9,1938, in Kansas City, Mo a daughter of Harriett Rustenhaven.
Starlene was proceeded in death by her husband Bob Bardwell, one son Rodney Bardwell and her grandson L.P. Bardwell and sister Nancy Hunter and brother Nicky LaFountain.
She was a strong woman of faith and homemaker. She enjoyed bingo, shopping, and dancing, as well as spending time with her family.
Starlene is survived by her son Phillip Bardwell of Holden, Mo and daughter Ruth Ann Wheeler (Boyd) of Independence, Mo, several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, two brothers Ronnie Rustenhaven of Independence, Mo and Eddie Rustenhaven of Independence, Mo. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services will be held at 9:00am (for visitation) on Friday February 28, 2025, at Floral Hills Funeral Home in Kansas City, Mo. Service will be from 10:00am to 11:00 am with graveside to follow.
Starlene’s family will be the pall bearers: Dale Bardwell, Jason Bardwell, Matthew Bardwell, Shawn Bardwell, Thomas Hunter and T.J Hunter.
