She was born on September 11th, 1975, to Ginevra Bowling and Bill Jonas. She grew up in Kansas City, Missouri.
She graduated from the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science in Education. After graduation, Tammy spent her time working as a special needs teacher at the Sherwood Autism Center.
She spent her free time traveling, and loved visiting gardens for butterflies. She always enjoyed a good meal out on the town, and her love for teaching was her biggest passion above all else.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Ginevra Bowling.
She is survived by her brother, William Jonas; her son, Cooper Marshall; her partner, Wayne Marshall; and her father Bill Jonas
A visitation for Tamara will be held Saturday, June 10, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Northland Cathedral, 101 NW 99th St, Kansas City, MO 64155. A celebration of life will follow from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. There will be a reception at Angie Dotson's home after the celebration.
