She was born on January 19th, 1955 in Kansas City Missouri to proud parents, Clarence and Alberta Weber.
Theresa would say she was a simple woman, however her zest for life and numerous hobbies would say otherwise. In her younger years, she with her brother Leo, participated competitive roller skating. Theresa found another partner in Steve Tuttle, whom she married and spent 40 wonderful years with. She and Steve enjoyed many shared hobbies; tandem bicycling, square dancing, shooting at the gun range, and even motorcycles. Upon his retirement, Theresa told Steve she wanted a Honda Goldwing, one he already had in mind, so with this request, he happily went and picked one up.
Theresa was inclined towards sports as well, like softball, archery and bowling for many years. She played on two bowling teams on Mondays and Wednesdays, who will miss her dearly.
For her career, Theresa worked for Waddell & Redd, and then later State Street. Once leaving the financial world, she found a second calling in elder care. She loved working with the elderly and doing so increased her loving family circle with each patient she cared for.
One of Theresa’s greatest passions though, was dog training. She was a member of the Greater Kansas City Dog Training Club for 15 years. She held titles of former Director and was the current Vice President at the time of her passing. She was also the Canine Good Citizen Coordinator and taught the Advance Beginner class for many years. She adored training and watching the dogs progress in qualifying for their CGC Titles. Most of all, Theresa had love for the competition. She competed with her rottweilers Angel, Libby and Schatzie, and they together excelled in scent work, obedience, and rally.
Theresa was preceded in death by her parents Clarence and Alberta Weber, and brother Leo Weber.
She is survived by her devoted husband Steve Tuttle, fur babies Schatzie and Trooper, and many, many friends, teammates, and patients that became family.
She will be so dearly missed by all that knew her.
