From former Captain Moody, MSPR's
I was on the interview committee for Tom when he applied for the Rangers. We had some doubts, but when he mentioned he was computer literate, we had to have him. We were just starting to use computers a lot, and Tom helped us a great deal.
Tom did well as a Ranger, and was a very good lawman. Always did his job in a professional manner, was good with the public and other law enforcement agencies.
Tom was the Godfather of our two kids, and really liked visiting with Callie and Calen. I helped him out on his farm just south of Jefferson City, and we had many adventures together.
Susie and I are very sorry for your loss, and our prayers are with you.
Sincerely, Steve, Susie, Callie and Calen Moody

My thoughts and prayers to the family and friends of the man I knew as "Big Tom". He and I worked together in Missouri State Parks for many years. We shared a lot of very interesting life experiences and activities over the decades. Tom's goal was always service to the public. Farewell Big Tom, rest in peace. You earned it.
