Tommy was born November 14, 1949 to Henry and Mary (Lomangino) Solombrino in Rockville Centre, NY. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era. Following his service to this country he moved to Kansas City. Before retiring, Tommy was a maintenance painter/glazer during his working life. Tommy loved his family and had a special place in his heart for his dog, Lynus and his Papa cat. He was the life of every party. There was never a dull moment when he was around. He was a fighter, who fought hard the last years of his illness. Tom was one of the most generous people you could ever meet. Always offering to help anyone in need. He will be missed by all of us.
Tommy was preceded in death by his parents; his uncles, Joseph Lomangino and Marty Lomangino.
Survivors include his wife, Donna of the home; children, Alicia Solombrino, Joseph and his wife, Maria Solombrino, DeAnna and her husband, Nick Walsh and Anthony Solombrino and partner, Sophia Hurt; 7 grandchildren; siblings, Raphael (Rae) Kweller and Hank Solombrino.
