Bill passed away November 3, 2022 peacefully at home with family by his side.
Bill graduated from Raytown High School, Class of 1956. He served in the US Navy (USN), and was educated as a small engine mechanic. He was a Journeyman Plumber that led him to be a proud member of Local 8, and retired as Craft Plumber from the State of Missouri.
Once Bill retired, he hit the ground running! He treasured the relationships and friends he made at the breakfast table at Rosie’s, The Englewood Café and Denny’s. He found immense pleasure for many years going to Lake Viking with family and friends. Many memories were made there! One of his other pleasures after retirement was repairing lawn mowers. He was always up for the challenge of figuring out what was wrong with them and the gratification in the fix. The side cash wasn’t bad either.
Those who remain on this earth to keep his legacy alive, Sharon Carmichael (former wife and best friend), Serena Dehoney (Daughter), Bradley Dehoney (Grandson), Michelle Dehoney (Grand-Daughter), Ann Dehoney (Sister-In-Law), Jerry Dehoney (Nephew), Nancy Clifton (Niece), Pam Snyder (Niece), Kim Jacobs (Niece), Nikki Knipmeyer (Niece), and many friends who are loved as if they were family.
Know that he loved his family and friends fiercely!!
Pops, you’re a beautiful soul!! You will be missed by all!!
