I am one of the lucky people in this world who got to spend some time with Victor. I was friends with his son-in-law Chris, and since we both shared a love of cooking, we would plan and cook Thanksgiving meals together at Chris' house. It was here that I got to meet Victor.

The first time I met Victor, I could immediately tell he had a warm and loving personality. He could make you smile with only a few words, and he told the most wonderfully vivid and amazing stories about things he had seen or done in his life. After that first Thanksgiving get together, he said "I was part of the family" and he called me his son. I'll never forget his warmth, his kindness, and his positive attitude.

I miss you and love you,

Aaron
