Vincent was born February 5, 1939 to Frank and Nancy (Mormino) Battaglia in Cefalu, Sicily. Vincent worked as a meat cutter in Kansas City for 25 years. He was a member of the American Sons of Columbus and enjoyed playing BOCCE.
In addition to his parents, Vincent was preceded in death by a brother,Joseph Battaglia; his sister-in-law, Sarafina Battaglia; and brother-in-law, John Liberto.
Vincent is survived by his son, Vincent Michael Battaglia and his wife, Alexi, of Elkhorn, NE; daughter, Nanci Battaglia of Kansas City,MO; 3 grandchildren, Austin, Andrew and Mya; sisters, Sarah Armato and her husband, Carl, Rosa Liberto, Mary Cangelosi and her husband, Joe, and Carmelina Franco and her husband, John; and nieces and nephews.
