

Virgilio “Bong” Chico, 72, of KCMO passed away on Nov 5, 2016. Mass of Christian Burial (church visitation at 9:30 a.m., mass at 10:30 a.m.) Saturday, Nov 19, at Christ The King Church, 8510 Wornall Rd, KCMO. Visitation 5-9 p.m. (rosary 6:30 p.m) Friday, Nov 18 at McGilley State Line Chapel.
Virgilio was born June 26, 1944 in Baliuag, Bulacan Philippines. He was a businessman and was involved in his community. He was President of the FA-GKC in 1983 and started the annual Parents Day and initiated the Senior Council. He started the “Retired Teachers Association of Baliuag” in the Philippines. He was known as king of the dance floor and chosen in the “Dance O Rama” TV show in 1966. He enjoyed reading and could always find a book in his hand. He loved his family and friends very much.
He is preceded in death by his parents Ex-Mayor Roberto E. Chico and Constancia Cruz Chico; brothers Beneroso, Teofilo, Felipe; sister Marina and nephews Edgardo & Frederick.
He is survived by his children, Rommel and Michelle Chico; sisters: Rosario, Carmen and Angela; nephews and nieces: Gigi, Arnel, Arthur, Mindy, Jake, Bing, Mike, Roderick, Ronald, Francis, Chiqui, Maricar, Froilan, Millet, and Angelico; grandnephews: Angelo, Carlo, Martin, Miguel, Johnathan, Jack, Jacob, Zach, Gabby, Joshua; grandnieces: Cherie, Charm, Chai, Mariel, Bethany, Zoe, Judea, JM, Faith; great grandnephews: Ckyle, Nathan, Miguel
