Ginny was born on March 31, 1924, to William H. and Elsie (Reed) Finley in Kansas City, Missouri. She raised two children with her first husband, Vernon G. Brown. From sewing and cooking to running an electric line to her attic, Ginny was a true "jill of all trades".
Ginny was a petite lady with a big heart. She had a quick wit and was always ready with a good comeback to make you laugh. Fun-loving and always up for an adventure. Ginny enjoyed literature, poetry, and gardening. One of her favorite books was A Treasury of The World's Best Loved Poems.
Ginny was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, two sisters and her children: Janet Elaine Brown Reardon and Chris W. Brown, also by three husbands: Vernon G. Brown, Clarence E. Hoppel, and E.R. Bryan.
Left to cherish Ginny's memory are numerous family members who loved her dearly. She will be buried next to Vernon G. Brown in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Kansas City, Missouri.
"Love begins with a smile, grows with a kiss, and ends with a tear." Our sorrow is replaced by the wonderful moments we shared with Ginny.
