We announce to family and friends, that William Lee “Bill” Fortune passed away on September 5, 2014. Visitation 9-11am Saturday, Sept. 27th at St. Bernadette’s Catholic Church, 9020 East 51st Terrace, KCMO 64133-2125 with memorial service at 11am. Cremation.
Bill was born November 17, 1930 in Seattle, WA although he lived his life in Kansas City and was most recently a resident of John Knox Village in Lee’s Summit, MO. He proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corp. during the Korean War. He was a true gentleman who had something nice to say about everyone. His clear conscience allowed him to enjoy every beautiful day and sleep well every night.
Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy & is survived by his son, Bary and wife Linda; grandchildren Lorie, Kiley & Jamie; his daughter, Catherine; his son, Gregory and wife Cindy; grandson Kane; his son, Jeffrey; grandchildren, Gable and Natalie and a total of 5 great grandchildren.
