William M. Garrison, 91, Kansas City, MO, passed away July 19, 2015. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, July 24, at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Rd. Graveside service will be 9:00 a.m. Saturday, July 25, at Mt. Moriah Cemetery.
William was born April 27, 1924 in Salina, KS, son of Carl M. and Ella E. (Cheaney) Garrison. He served his country in the U.S. Navy. He had worked many jobs, but the last being a truckdriver. William married Hattie Mae Erickson in Kansas City, KS on January 11, 1943.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Hattie Garrison and his son Carl Garrison. He is survived by his sons Eric (Nancy) and Gerald Garrison, daughter-in-law Rita Garrison, six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren, extended family and friends.
