LCDR William Keith Scott, 82, Kansas City North, passed away June 27, 2014 at his home. Funeral services are 11:00 AM Thursday, July 3rd at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where a visitation will begin at 9:00 AM. Graveside services, with military honors, are 11:00 AM Saturday, July 5th at the Bethany Cemetery, Crocker, MO. Contributions are suggested to the Church.
William was born January 2, 1932 in Charleroi, PA. He was a retired Lieutenant Commander of the U.S. Navy and had served in the Vietnam Conflict. Following his Navy service he farmed for 16 years in Iberia, MO. He was a member of The Church. William was preceded in death by his parents, Orsa and Bessie Scott; and a brother, Jack Scott.
Survivors include his wife of more than 63 years, Carolyn; 4 children, Michael (Gaylene) Scott, Paula Friend, William O. (Kimberly) Scott and Timothy Scott; a sister, Martha Ridgway; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
