Raised in Grandview, Missouri, Bill spent his life pursuing his passions and building a legacy through hard work, adventure, and camaraderie. A self-made business owner, he specialized in both the automotive and plumbing industries — trades that reflected his love for machinery, hands-on problem solving, and an entrepreneurial spirit.
Outside of work, Bill lived life wide open. He was an avid drag racing enthusiast who cherished Wednesday nights with his racing crew in the garage. He found peace in the outdoors, whether riding his Argo through wooded trails, fishing, traveling in his RV, or scuba diving in clear waters. Wherever he went, a cold Coors Light and a good story were never far behind.
He was proud to have earned the rank of Eagle Scout early in life — a reflection of the independence, discipline, and sense of adventure that defined him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Lamont and Clarice Seals; brother, David Seals; and mother of his children, Denise Seals.
Bill is survived by his children, Billy Seals (Alysha), Lorie Sloan (Brian) and Kimberly McDonald (Terry); four grandchildren, Blair Wells, Jacob Wells, Isabella Seals and Brooklynn Seals; sister, Ann Conklin; brother, Monty Seals; and a community of family, friends, and fellow racers who will forever remember his grit, humor, and love for the simple joys of life.
A visitation will be held from 1-2 PM, with service at 2 PM, on Friday, June 13 at Westridge Christian Church, 7903 Westridge Rd, Raytown, MO 64138.
