Though it's been years since I've seen Bill and even longer since we worked together, I was so saddened to learn of his passing. I will fondly remember his ornery smile and his story-telling laugh. My sincere condolences to his loved ones.

I have known Bill since grade school at St. Ann's. He was a really special person. He always had a smile and a kind word for everyone. I know how his family must miss him. What a fighter. God bless.

Bill-you beat me to it-you sure fought hard and you did a lot! My no-immune system buddy-maybe those golden gates need some hardware!

We were so sad to hear about Bill's passing... He was always smiling no matter what was going on. Our prayers are with you and the family.

It was sad to hear the news that Bill passed away.  He was always the competition but I liked and respected him.

"Bill has left the building" however his wonderful spirit lives on. I can't remember a time Bill did not have a smile on his face from "Hello"...always upbeat while he shouldered a constant heavy burden. Bill was a great guy, with a firm handshake. I last spoke with him for an hour or two in the hospital along with Jim Cox and his wife Lynda. I filmed about 45 minutes of it...and Bill was Blll the whole time...a humble gentleman with a special sense of humor. 
His body gave up but his spirit lives on. 
He will be missed until we meet again.

You were an angel to him in these last years. Glad I got to spend some brief time with him this last month. We were friends since high school and I loved the guy. God bless to you, his children and grandchildren.

In the time I was able to get to know Bill he was always in good spirits and had a wonderful, caring personality. He always took the time to ask how my family and I were doing and we usually got to have some fun conversations about recent events or getting some interesting history on him. Bill was one of those guys you just loved to talk to because you knew it would be an enjoyable experience as well as get you a few chuckles.  He will be dearly missed both as an enjoyable person and as a hardware consultant.

I spent many times with Bill back in the day. Had a lot of great times.

I  have known Bill for 50 years. I was there when Jeff and Christine were born.  Bill was a person that kept you laughing and he loved being around lots of people.  Bill was blessed to have a group of friends from high school that have stayed in touch to this day.  His loss to them has been devestating.  Bill had the biggest smile and a laugh that you could not forget.  Jeff and Christine I pray for comfort for you both and the family. I knew Bill since third grade at Saint Ann's Catholic School. He loved life and loved people - always a smile on his face and a kind greeting. It was a testament to his fine parents and family. I also had the honor of friendship with his brother Tom in college. Bill was a man for others, in the tradition of Rockhurst High School. We can all learn from his example. God bless, Bill. I know your family will miss you. I certainly will.
