Alvaro Francisco Pineros - Reyes

Con profundo pesar, la familia comunica el fallecimiento de Álvaro Piñeros, quien nació en Cerinza, Boyacá, Colombia, hijo de Emma Reyes y Aureliano Piñeros. Ingeniero Industrial de profesión, dedicó su vida al trabajo, la familia y la amistad.

En 1967 contrajo matrimonio con Leonor Ariza, con quien compartió 58 años de matrimonio, formando una hermosa familia basada en el amor y la unión. Juntos fueron ejemplo de compromiso y generosidad.

Álvaro fue un hombre bondadoso, siempre dispuesto a ayudar. Desde joven asumió grandes responsabilidades, cuidando de sus hermanos tras la muerte de su padre cuando tenía 26 años. Tuvo tres hermanas y tres hermanos, dos de ellas ya fallecidas, y siempre mantuvo un lazo especial con su familia.

Amante de la música y el baile, disfrutaba compartir momentos alegres con su familia y amigos. Le apasionaban deportes tradicionales como el tejo, el baloncesto y también montar bicicleta. Dondequiera que estuviera, tenía el don de hacer nuevos amigos.

Deja un legado de amor y unión familiar. Fue padre de Emma, Javier y Bibiana, y abuelo orgulloso de Paula, Pipe, Carlos, Valeria, Matthew y Camila, quienes siempre lo recordarán con cariño y gratitud.

Su vida fue ejemplo de compromiso, alegría y solidaridad. Hoy lo despedimos con el corazón lleno de recuerdos y la certeza de que su espíritu seguirá acompañándonos.

La velación se llevará a cabo el miércoles 10 de diciembre en Katy Funeral Home, ubicada en 23350 Kingsland Blvd, Katy, TX 77494, de 3:00 p.m. a 7:00 p.m.

La misa de funeral será el jueves 11 de diciembre a las 11:30 a.m. en la iglesia St. Faustina Catholic Church, ubicada en 28102 FM 1093, Fulshear, TX 77441.

With deep sorrow, the family announces the passing of Álvaro Piñeros, who was born in Cerinza, Boyacá, Colombia, son of Emma Reyes and Aureliano Piñeros. A professional Industrial Engineer, he dedicated his life to work, family, and friendship.

In 1967, he married Leonor Ariza, with whom he shared 58 years of marriage, building a beautiful family founded on love and unity. Together, they were an example of commitment and generosity.

Álvaro was a kind-hearted man, always willing to help. From a young age, he took on great responsibilities, caring for his siblings after the death of his father when he was 26 years old. He had three sisters and three brothers, two of his sisters having passed away, and he always maintained a special bond with his family.

He loved music and dancing and enjoyed spending joyful moments with family and friends. He was passionate about traditional sports such as tejo, basketball, and also loved cycling. Wherever he went, he had the gift of making new friends.

He leaves behind a legacy of love and family unity. He was the proud father of Emma, Javier, and Bibiana, and grandfather to Paula, Pipe, Carlos, Valeria, Matthew, and Camila, who will always remember him with love and gratitude.

His life was an example of commitment, joy, and solidarity. Today, we say goodbye with hearts full of memories and the certainty that his spirit will continue to accompany us.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10, at Katy Funeral Home, located at 23350 Kingsland Blvd, Katy, TX 77494, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

The Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday, December 11, at 11:30 a.m. at St. Faustina Catholic Church, located at 28102 FM 1093, Fulshear, TX 77441.
