Barbara Phyllis Stewart, age 67, passed away on January 24th, 2015, in New Holland Pennsylvania. Born to Antoinette and John Bowman on May 5th, 1947, Barbara grew up in Rumson, New Jersey and graduated from Rumson Fair Haven Regional High School. She married Jeff Stewart in 1969 in Ringwood, New Jersey, and moved to Houston, Texas soon after. Barbara’s expression of love for her dogs was only matched by the adoration she felt for her grandchildren: Kylee, Samantha, Emily, Lauren, Abbee, and Ethan. The memory of her sense of humor and welcoming smile will forever comfort those who were fortunate to have known Barbara. She is survived by her sister, Arleen Brighton; sons, Eric and Jason Stewart; and grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Monday, February 9th at 5:30 PM at the Katy Funeral Home, 233350 Kingsland Blvd, Katy, TX 77494.
