Beryl W. Bell, a cherished and faithful servant of Jehovah passed away peacefully on March 9, 2025 in Cypress, TX. She was born on April 29, 1948 in New Orleans, LA. Beryl was the oldest of three kids, born to Wilson Ray Williams Sr. and Victoria P. Williams. All who knew Beryl knew she loved Jehovah.
Beryl graduated from Walter L. Cohen High School in 1966 and attended LSU for a short time. She questioned many things but one thing she did know is she wanted to be an actress. In the process of her trying to figure out how to pursue that dream she met Gerald A. Bell Sr., who became her husband on June 19, 1971. Beryl, like her husband desired to learn spiritual truths and began their journey to do so by means of accepting a Bible study and were baptized together in 1974 as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
After working 20 plus years at Southern University of New Orleans, Beryl retired to engage fulltime in a worldwide bible educational work as a pioneer of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Beryl pioneered over 30 plus years and along the way teaching others to have a love for Jehovah as she did. Over the years Beryl has gained a host of spiritual mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, daughters, sons, and grandkids. Many who had the pleasure of knowing her can tell you she stood firm for Jehovah and would encourage all who didn’t know Jehovah to get to know him and those who did to draw closer to him so they could see him as she did, as her father, God, and friend.
Beryl was preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Gerald A. Bell Sr. She leaves behind her loving 3 children, Gerald A. Bell Jr. and wife Alisha Bell, Damien A. Bell, Arian N. Bell; 2 step-children, Desmond A. Bell, Carlaina J. Bell; 2 grandchildren, Sade N. Davis and husband LeRon Davis, Jahari M. Bell; 1 step grandchild, Charlize Collins; 1 great grandchild, Aizen C.
