Carlos "Charlie" Llanas

He was born on March 11, 1961 in San Juan, Texas to Maria Nieves Llanas. He graduated from McAllen High School in 1980. A man of all trades, he did anything to provide for his family from a young age. Throughout his lifetime he developed many skill sets that varied from plumbing, electrical, minor renovations, upholstery, and mechanical.

When he was not helping others, he enjoyed fishing, being outdoors, sports, music, gardening, thrift shopping, and spending time with his family. He was the light of his family and they were more important to him than anything else. His greatest pride was being a grandfather. He had the ability to make a friend anywhere he went and the talent to make you smile, laugh, and feel happy.

Carlos was preceded in death by his mother, Maria Llanas Soto. He leaves behind his loving wife of 24 years, Argentina Llanas; daughter Nemesis Llanas; daughter and son-in-law, Gloria Corpus and Antonio “Rocky” Auces; his grandchildren, Aiden Auces, Alejandro Auces, Antonio “JR” Auces, and Arya Auces; father Edubiges Soto; brothers Juan M Llanas and wife Lisa, Luis E Soto and wife Cynthia, Jose M Soto and wife Jennifer; sisters Guadalupe L Aguilar and husband Antonio, San Juanita Soto; and many cousins, nephews, nieces, family and friends.

Visitation will be held on February 7, 2021 at 10:00 am at Katy Funeral Home, 23350 Kingsland Blvd, KATY, TX. Funeral Service will be held on February 7, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Katy Funeral Home, 23350 Kingsland Blvd, KATY, TX.
