

Mrs Chiemeri Imelda Collins Nee Osemele was born on October 17, 1984 in Tyler Texas to Chief Ayo Paul Osemele and Reverend Dr Imelda C. Okwubunne from Nigeria. Chiemeri was a very beautiful baby. A very happy, playful, caring and loving child full of energy. She was very intelligent even as a toddler, she excelled in everything that she was taught. She was raised in a Christian home where she was taught to love the Lord and she loved reading and quoting scriptures from the Bible. In elementary School she would take her little bible to school and share scriptures with her friends at lunch time.
The “big sister” to three younger siblings, she made sure that her siblings followed the rules that their mother laid down. She made sure that they did their home work and protected them. She was a good leader.
From elementary through junior high and High school Chiemeri excelled in academics, cheerleading, gymnastics, dance and theater. She was a member of the elite Langham Creek Balledora dance group, while in high school, , Chiemeri had a very beautiful and unique singing voice, she won many singing competitions in junior high and high school. She was very beautiful and tall and was in several beauty pageants. She got her modeling diploma from Neil Hamil Agency at 16yrs old. Her first modeling job, she was in a music video. She graduated from Langham Creek High School in 2003, where she was very popular amongst her classmates.
Chiemeri was a pharmacy student at the University Of Houston before she decided to pursue her dream in music and theater. She released several CDs. Her music is played on radio in the USA, England, Nigeria and South Africa.
Chiemeri was employed full-time as a software marketing executive, where she excelled, and last year she gor for her company the biggest account in the history of the company. While holding down a full time job, She was also a model, singer/songwriter, author, mentor, actress, podcast host, social media influencer, wife and mother. As an actress in 2019 she played the lead roll in The African Mean Girls at the Ensemble Theater.
Chiemeri was a born again Christian, she had a relationship with Jesus Christ. She loved Jesus in a special way and she proudly told the people in her sphere of influence about Jesus, prayed with them and gave them hope. She was very caring, humble and loving through out her life. She loved her husband and children passionately. She taught them scriptures and prayed with them.
Chiemeri knew how to have fun and enjoy life. She enjoyed life to the max!
On February 11 2022 Chiemeri left this world and transitioned into glory. She is in heaven with her Lord and savior Jesus Christ. Chiemeri we love you, we will love you forever.
Chiemeri is survived by her husband, Cardell H. Collins: her father, Chief Ayo Paul Osemele: her mother, Reverend Dr Imelda Okwubunne: her sisters Ebere Osemele and Millicent Osemele: her brother, Kelechi Osemele: her uncle Pastor Jude Okwubune and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and other extended family and friends.
