Claude Haynes Ferguson

The husband of Charlotte Ferguson (Rammel). Mr. and Mrs. Ferguson had been married for 66 years. He was born in Alloway, NJ on February 6, 1929 and was the son of the late C. Boone and Pearl Ferguson. His early life was split between living on the family dairy farms in the Alloway, NJ and the Waynesville, NC areas. Mr. and Mrs. Ferguson spent most of their adult lives living in the Bridgeton, NJ area. After retirement, they lived in The Villages, FL for 14 years before moving to the Katy, TX area in 2012.

Mr. Ferguson graduated from Waynesville, NC High School in 1945. He served in the United States Air Force from 1948 to 1952. Mr. Ferguson primarily worked in the construction industry in the payroll. He enjoyed raising farm animals and deer hunting. He played golf and enjoyed drawing and painting during his retirement years in Florida.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Steve Ferguson and his wife Larisa of Katy, TX, one daughter Claudette Coyle and husband Pat of Deptford, NJ, two grandchildren, Colleen Vetters and her husband James of Humble, TX, and Steven Ferguson of Santa Monica, CA, and two great grandchildren, Bethany Vetters and Henry Vetters.

Mr. Ferguson is also survived by his brother Robert Ferguson of Waynesville, NC; his sister Margaret Shelton of Waynesville, NC.

A memorial service will be held at Kingsland Baptist Church in Katy, TX on Thursday November 3, 2016 at 3 PM.

A graveside memorial service will be held in the Bridgeton, NJ area at a later date.
