My deepest sympathy to Jeremiah, Christian, Sarah, grandchildren, and family.  I have known Dan for his whole life beginning at the Christian Assembly on 4th Street in Sunbury, Pa.  Dan was a loving, caring and giving man who loved the Lord and showed it in all that he did.  Harry and I are so glad we were able to visit with him in June when he made the exhausting trip to Pennsylvania to see everyone.  He is at peace and healthy now and can continue to worship our Lord and Savior!  We will meet again someday.  You will be deeply missed but you have left us with a legacy of what it means to be a Christian and follow His Word.  Rest In peace Dan.  We love you!

Please accept my deepest condolences on the loss of your father and grandfather. 
I had the pleasure of working with Dan as part of Shell's Joint Venture audit team but from the office in Calgary, Alberta. Our annual trips to Houston were always a highlight because that meant lots of dinners out on Shell's dime! Dan always made sure us ladies made it back to our hotel safe and sound. 
Dan's trips up to  Alberta always involved immersing himself in the mountains, whether it was Banff, or his most recent trip to Waterton National Park in Oct 2019. I am so glad I told him to make sure his rental car had snow tires before venturing out!  
His visits to Banff and surrounding areas always ended up with a photo on his computer screen, perhaps it was his way of "escaping" from those BP audits.  Dan could've worked for Parks Canada because he knew where to find the best hikes which included Johnston's Canyon and the Tea House.
He had the patience of a saint because not too many men would wander up and down the streets of Banff happily agreeing to hold all of the shopping bags while Stephanie, Janet and I scurried in and out of the stores. 

Your father and grandfather was an exceptional human being and it was a privilege to know and work with him.

You are in a better place.  We started to work together in March, 1993.  You helped me from that point until  I retired almost 4 years, ago.  We had fun at Donut Day, Trival Pursuit,  and by the way you learned how to make Cajun food. We had good names.  You were tagged with being Flintstone (not Fred).  We have Nieman, the Wizard, the Chief,  Steer Woman, Flipper, Dragon Lady, the Silver Fox , the Old Timmer, Mad Dog, etc.  There are some other names that probably we would get sent to HR these days.  Back on 1990's that was part of being an old field hand..You still have alot of work to do.  You are looking over and laughing at your E and T teams. I look forward talking to down the road..good bye for now. 

I work for and with Dan and could not ask for a better man than him to have shared part of my life. He was fun in every sense of the word and enjoyed his life through faith and goodness.  I am grateful for Dan's friendship during our life experience and will carry many fond memories of him as my life goes on. Thanks Dan. 

I have so many great memories of Dan coaching my daughter Kristy soccer at Bear Creek park .  He was a great man with a big heart and smile.  I’m sorry for your loss.  Gone too soon.  I’m sure he would have been coaching his grandkids to be great little soccer players.  Our prayers are with the family.
