

Danny was born September 30, 1945 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma to Clarence Smith Grayson and Emma Doris Wilkinson. As a Vietnam War Veteran, Danny served in the United States Air Force. On May 3, 1985, he married Martha Rodriguez in Bay City, Texas. A resident of Katy for over 20 years, Danny possessed a great passion for fishing, Dallas Cowboy football, Texas Hold ‘Em Poker, shooting pool and spending time with his family. For the past 29 years, he has been a dedicated employee for Cinemark Theatres. Over the years, he and Martha enjoyed hosting backyard bar-b-ques and pool parties with their family and friends.
Danny was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Martha Grayson of Katy, Texas; sons Robbie Grayson and wife Gail of Bryant, Arkansas, Abraham Patlan and wife Linse of Katy, Texas, Joseph Grayson and wife Leslie of Katy, Texas; daughter Rhonda (Grayson) McKenzie and husband Brad of Houston, Texas; brother Bill Grayson and wife Sandra of Salt Lake City, Utah; and sister Linda (Grayson) Lott and husband Doug of Paris, Texas; and his beloved Pit Bull, Rusty.
Danny was "Grandpa" to his beloved grandchildren, Daniel Grayson, Taylor McKenzie, Eli Patlan, and Drew Grayson. He is also survived by his two great-granddaughters, Addison and Brooklyn Grayson.
A memorial service celebrating Danny’s life will be held on September 5, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Westland Baptist Church, 1407 West Grand Parkway South, Katy, Texas. Inurnment at Houston National Cemetery in Houston, TX.
