Kathy, what a joy to have come to know you over the last few years as my sister.  It has been a joy to learn that you are my sister.  And now, after such a short time, you have gone on to be with the Lord.  I now have the joy of knowing that we will meet again someday, up there, and have eternity to get to know you better.  Rest dear sister from all your struggles with health issues.  And Dave, it has been special getting to know you.  The Lord be with you and comfort you in this time of grief. I wish I could be there to give you hugs, but know many caring and loving thoughts are with you during this difficult time. She was a like a sister and best friend to me. We had connected souls sharing birthdays together, laughing at silly things and sharing countless hours throughout the years. She is leaving a hole in all our hearts that new and loved our Kathy. I believe Kathy visited me when a butterfly landed on me yesterday and hung out for over 10 minutes until I let her go to fly freely. I love you Kathy forever.

Uncle David our hearts break with yours,  Aunt Kathy was a loving and special person. I’m grateful for the time we got to spend with the both of you in Tennessee so that my children could see the kindness and love you both gave and they enjoyed the “magic refrigerator”. We love you dearly and are praying for you daily and although we will miss her we are glad Aunt Kathy is no longer suffering. ❤️

Dave, my heart broke when I heard about Kathy. She was a sweet and gentle soul. She was always kind and anyone who stood near the two of you could feel the love you shared. I’ve never seen a truer love story. Your bride is out of pain but I know you are grieving so heavily that nothing makes sense anymore. You have many friends. Lean on them……we are your support.

Dave with a heavy heart we write this. 

When I first met Kathy she welcomed me with open arms and she became a great friend to me and Gene would always say this is my sister and you his brother.  We enjoyed every minute that we spent time with the both of you either at your home or ours.

The last time we saw Kathy was when we came at the rehabilitation facility and she wanted so bad to come to visit us where I could fix her some crispy bacon, tomato gravy and hot biscuits oh how I wished that could had happened.

Kathy gave the good fight as a warrior in the battle she was fighting but the Lord had other plans for her.  She is at peace and in no more pain her suffering has now ended.

Gene and I and our family sends condolences to all of you at this time.  Praying 🙏 for comfort and peace to each of you.

We loved Kathy and she will forever be in our hearts 💕.  

Dave all of you hold on to the beautiful memories and lean on the good Lord for strength and courage.  Like Gene would say in closing “Love You Brother and Sister “ and I Love You Too My Friend.

I'm so sorry for your loss, Dave, Brian and family. My cousin Kathy was a dear sweet lady. Only got to know her a few years but I'm thankful for that time. She may be gone, but always in our hearts. Sending love and prayers to all.
