Diane Austin Goutchkoff

Diane was raised in Houston. She graduated with the “Fine 59” of Spring Branch High School, and then went on to complete degrees at the University of Texas at Austin. She was a homemaker as well as a teacher at Lee High School (Houston) and Houston Community College. Diane loved quilting and classical music.

She is preceded in death by her parents Preston Rose Austin and Alice Irene Meeks Austin. She is survived by two daughters, Alexandra Spradley and her husband James, Lydia Goutchkoff and husband Daniel Tague; grandchildren, Darby Tague, Jordan Spradley and Grant Spradley.

Pallbearers will be Charles Meeks, Mike Herman, Kevin Herman, Daniel Tague, James Spradley, Grant Spradley, Jordan Spradley and Trent Walsh. Honorary Pallbearer will be Nicolas Goutchkoff.

Diane Goutchkoff born December 14, 1941 in Beaumont, Texas passed away on Thursday, February 11, 2016 in Katy, Texas. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until 11:00 am Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at The Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-day Saints, 9950 S. Mason Road, Richmond, Texas 77406,followed by the funeral service at 11:00 am. Graveside service will follow at 2:30 pm at Memorial Oaks Cemetery, 13001 Katy Freeway, Houston, Texas 77079.
