Douglas Francis Willey

Douglas F. Willey - 71, beloved husband, father, father-in-law and grandfather, passed away after a 3 year battle with lung cancer on Sunday, March 6, 2016 in Katy, Texas. Doug was born in Fort Dodge, Iowa on June 8, 1944 to Harold and Evelyn Willey. As a child he attended school in Badger, Iowa and graduated from Fort Dodge High School in 1962.

Doug is preceded in death by both his parents Harold and Evelyn Willey, his brother Paul Willey from Iowa and his sister Joyce Martin from Texas. He is survived by his wife, of 51 years, Carol A. Willey, his sons Steven Willey, Scott Willey, and daughter Staci Schneider, daughter-in-law Tammy Willey and son-in-law Victor Schneider and two brothers John Willey and Richard Willey. Doug is also survived by five grandchildren Austin Willey, Allyson Willey, Madison Willey, Shelby Willey and Caleb Schneider. Doug’s grandchildren were his pride and joy and he loved attending all their activities. He was a very proud dad and grandpa.

Doug will be greatly missed by all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
