

Emil Chuidian, 53, of Katy, Texas, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Woodlands, Texas. Born in San Diego, California, he was raised by Emilio and Rustica Chuidian, graduated from The University of San Diego, and proudly served our country as a lieutenant in the United States Navy during Desert Shield, Desert Storm. After last being stationed in Prairie View, Texas, he decided to settle down and make a family.
Emil was a kindhearted hardworking man. He worked as a IT manager at an autistic school named Avondale House and coached college and club volleyball as a hobby. He was an assistant coach at Prairie View A&M University for 22 years where he won 1 SWAC conference. In 2017, he decided to be a volunteer coach at Texas Southern University. He had an intense love for the game of volleyball and used his knowledge to help young ladies become the best players they could be.
Emil was an extremely goofy, outgoing person who was very proud of his two daughters, Paige and Alyssa, and his loving wife, Barbara. He is survived of his parents, Emilo and Rustica Chuidian, of San Diego; His wife and two daughters, Barbara, Paige and Alyssa Chuidian of Katy; His sister, Emily Zaravia of San Diego; as well as many aunts, uncles, nephews, and friends.
