Esperanza Chacon

Esperanza was born on February 14, 1935 in Queretaro, Mexico to Concepcion Ramirez and Lucas Plascencia.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Onesimo Torres, Sr.; sister, Isidra Plascencia; sister, Cointa Plascencia; sister, Matea Plascencia; sister, Encarnacion Plascencia; and daughter Dr. Margarita Torres.

Esperanza is survived by her sisters, Catalina and Tirsa Plascencia; son, Leoncio (Rosa) Torres; daughter, Maria Elena (Jose) Gonzalez; daughter, Leonor Torres; daughter, Lourdes Torres; son, Eduardo Torres; son, Onesimo (Maria Evangelina) Torres; daughter, Maria Torres (Manuel Capeles); son, Lucas (Kasia) Torres, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.

Esperanza passed away peacefully at Memorial Hermann Katy Hospital. Her memory will live on as an excellent mother, grandmother, and hard-working individual who did everything in her power to provide a better life for her family.

Funeral Arrangements are under the care of Katy Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on January 6, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m., with a funeral service to follow immediately from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Graveside Service will be held from 1:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. at 2492 – Forest Park Westheimer Cemetary; Houston, TX 77077.
