Howard Andrew Martin Jr.

Mr. Martin was born January 6, 1937 in Needham, Massachusetts to Howard Martin, Sr. and June. He served our country in The United States Army and later moved to Texas. Howard graduated from the University of Texas- Austin with a Bachelors degree in Architecture. While working in Houston, as an architect, he met his lovely wife of 38 years, Cynthia Wright-Martin. Through out his life, Howard continued to be an avid University of Texas and Houston sports fan. He also loved playing and teaching chess, with anyone daring to play him, and enjoyed his countless daily cups coffee.

Mr. Howard Martin Jr., was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Cynthia Wright-Martin. He leaves behind his son, John Martin and wife Virginia of Katy, TX, as well as his two grandsons Ethan and Isaiah Buck.

The Martin family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at Osa Heritage Home for taking such great care of him in his final days of life.

The family will be hosting a Celebration of Life gathering at a later date, upon the scattering of Howard and Cynthia’s ashes in Galveston, TX.
