As a mom of two sons Jennifer, together with her husband, led boy scouts, served as band parents as well as team parents. She was very involved in her boys’ lives, allowing them many opportunities, instilling strong academics and a vibrant faith in Christ.
After suffering a brain aneurysm on May 21, 1998, Jennifer spent eight months in rehab, after which she returned home to live with her husband Gerald and son Thomas who was in the 9th grade. Jennifer was an artist, which made her transition to The Brookwood Community during the day a perfect fit. She worked with ceramics, painted and designed cards for 15 years.
