Jessica Rae Chacon

Jessica Rae (Sisk) Chacon, born June 18, 1986, was welcomed into the arms of her Savior on Tuesday, February 23, 2016. Jessica leaves behind her husband of 9 years, Jacob, and their two daughters: Caydence (7) and Cayleigh (5). Jessica is survived by her parents Danny (Denise) Sisk, Maria Devore, parents-in-law Richard and Nely Chacon, grandparents Sharon Cole, Delores Sisk, and Jose and Isabel Vera, sisters Dana(Donovan), Diana (Mark), Anna (Jeremy), Kate (Eddie), and Joslyn, brothers Jason, Justin, and Jared (Rebekah), and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Jessica is preceded in death by her grandfathers Tom Sisk and James Devore, Sr.

Jessica was born in Columbia, Tennessee and lived there until moving to Texas to begin her life with Jacob. She had a love of writing and a heart for Special Needs children. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in History with plans to pursue a career teaching after her girls were in school. Jessica’s faith and love of Christ was a shining light to everyone she encountered. She always had a smile and word of encouragement when others needed it. She is deeply loved by all of who know her.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, February 26 at 1:30PM at the place Jessica received Christ into her life: Second Baptist Church-West Campus, 19449 Katy Freeway, Houston, Texas 77094.
