

Joni Clark, 68, passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at her home in Katy, TX. There will be no visitation; cremation has taken place. A celebration of life service will be held at 6:00pm on Friday, May 2nd at Katy Funeral Home in Katy, TX
Joan Ellen “Joni” Clark was born in Carlsbad, NM to Jean and William N. (Bill) Stanley on October 19, 1956. She graduated from New Mexico State University with a degree in Civil Engineering.
In 1983 she married Larry Clark, her husband of 41 years. She worked for the City of Carlsbad as an Engineering Technician and at IMC as a Mechanical Designer. She moved to Farmington, Nm in 1995 to work for Trigon-Sheehan Engineering & Constructors, LLC, then Burlington Resources in 1998 (later acquired by ConocoPhillips). In 2011 she moved to Katy, TX to work at ConocoPhillips-Houston HQ office as a Pipeline Project Lead and Eagleford Basin Supervisor, she then became a Right of Way Agent for sister company Phillips 66 in 2015 and retiring a year later.
She played piano and violin in high school and lifeguarded every summer. Her interests included swimming, painting, gardening, fishing, and love for animals.
Survivors are her husband Larry Clark; 2 sons, Chance Clark and Chaise Cranston; daughters-in-law Kara Clark and Amy Cranston; grandchildren, Cole Cranston, McKenzie Cranston, and Dallas Cranston; Sister: Barbara Stanley, Gina Mickelson, Lisa Stanley and Patricia Nolan; step-children Larry Clark Jr., John Michael Clark, Lisa Ghisletta, and Lacy Hilton; and rescue dog Boo Bear.
