Karen Sue Russo, 68, died peacefully in her sleep after a courageous battle with cancer, on September 18, 2014. Karen was a devoted mother, grandmother and wife. She is survived by her husband of nearly 48 years, Francis T. Russo, her son Francis T. Russo, Jr. and his wife Cindy, and their children Kelsea and Matthew.
Preceding her into passage to heaven were her beloved father and mother, Walter and Irene Callaway, and her brother Dale.
A memorial service will be held at Katy Funeral Home 23350 Kingsland Blvd., Katy, Texas 77494 at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, September 19, 2014. In lieu of flowers, the family recommends a donation in her name to The American Cancer Society.
