Many fond memories were shared together that will last forever. From exploring the city of New York for the first time, to riding motorcycles in Malibu, to gaming in Phoenix and online, Marcus was a true humble friend who touched my life. 
Simply put, Marcus was one of the good ones. He will be missed.

Also knew Marcus through a car forum, probably the same one most will mention. Never met him personally, but he always struck me as a great guy. My heart goes out to his family. Deepest sympathies.

Marcus and I became friends on the internet via our mutual love for cars and motorcycles. I had the pleasure of subsequently meeting him in person and celebrating a New Year's Eve together. He was one of the nicest, most-down-to-earth guys I knew. Not a pretentious bone is his body. He will be greatly missed but live on fondly in our hearts and memories with him.

Only knew him through a forum and never met him.  But he was in my life to some degree and that means something to me on a personal level.

Dear Laura, I am so sorry for this terrible tragedy.  In looking at all of the beautiful pictures you both look extremely happy.  It is good that you have very special memories to hold on to and trust that one day you will be together again.  I know your family is very close and everyone will be there for you.
